Our Mission is to empower those struggling to make ends meet by providing resources needed to meet their clothing and in-home needs.
We were founded 4 years ago, by Teresa Rocque, a woman dedicated to helping others. Teresa saw a need and wanted to find a way to fill it. Teresa started in her charitable activities by trying to find the items families in need required by searching the internet. It soon grew into a much larger venture requiring space space and the HEARTS Thrift Centre was born.
Our Objectives
We aim to serve the community through these objectives. Aiming to improve the lives of everyone that comes in contact with the Thrift Centre from patron to volunteer.

Provide a safe non-judgemental environment to those in need of help. To ensure all families & individuals are treated with respect & dignity at all times.
Enrich Lives
To enrich the lives of those accessing and donating to HEARTS Thrift Centre
Work Experience
To provide work experience, volunteer experience and social development opportunities within the community.
Facilitate
Provide a Thrift Centre a place to facilitate the exchange of items to help those in need within the community.
Communication with Resources
To ensure continued open networking & communication with organizations & resources.
